Over the centuries, mankind has tried many ways of combating the forces of evil... prayer, fasting, good works and so on. Up until Doom, no one seemed to have thought about the double-barrel shotgun. Eat leaden death, demon.

Hey! I just saw your icon, and as a HUGE Link fan myself, thought I'd stop by and say, "hi." So... After reading some of your posts, I'm wondering if you've ever considered a job in the video game industry? My husband makes games, as do many of our friends, so I know a lot about it, if you're interested...

BTW... Have you read Neil Gaiman? He teams up with Terry Prachett from time to time...

Hi Beth, ^^;; I'm sorry for the late replay, I didn't think anyone other than who were on my friend's list to read my stuff.
I would love to work in the video game industry. And cool you know people and you're married to someone in the industry! I would love to know more.
I learn about Neil Gaiman team up with Terry Pratchett, still catching reading some of Pratchett earlier works. I started off with "Thud"
And is awesome to meet another Zelda fan ^_^

SWEET! Being a game tester sounds awesome and even better you can move up from that position! I kinda did something like that for Organic. I had to test out a website search engine and found any errors in it. I ended up founding errors they didn't even think of and results that didn't make sense. Thank you so much for this information ^_^
I live in New York City, but isn't most of the major video game companies in California?
Even if you can't get the triforce tattoo, there is always pins. Nintendo world sold them and they were cute looking. I have friend that lives in Pittsburgh that does pretty good tattoos
check out her deviantart http://shinigami-sama.deviantart.com/
I cosplay as Link for NY comic con, someone thought I was cosplaying Peter Pan XD
Thank you so much for the information ^_^

Well, I'm a big wimp and a little fickle, so I probably won't ever actually get a tattoo because I have trouble committing to something that will still be on me when I'm 60. *sigh* Yes, I have pins! I have a friend at Nintendo, and he was my supplier, plus I used to go to E3 every year (I just moved out of LA)and get freebies there. What I need is a sticker for my DS, but I think I won't have too much trouble finding one once I actually have time to start looking for it.

Anyway, I'll shoot off an e-mail to my husband and let you know what's in your area. It sounds like you get the gist of the job, and the fact that you have similar experience would set you off ahead. Yeah, the industry prefers to move people up within it rather than getting people from schools, so that's definitely a great starting point. I'll let you know what I find out!

LOL yeah having a tattoo would be like having a long term relationship. Tattoo ages with you and you may not want to look at it anymore ^^
Cool! I always wanted to go E3! Oh what kind of free goodies did you get? If they did make a triforce sticker, I would love to buy that.
Again thank you so much for your time to tell me about the position and I hope to hear from you again soon.
