i feel so warm...
yesterday. it quite possibly could have been one of the best days ever. since i've been dating josh, it seems like that everyday, but yesterday was absolutely incredible. we stayed at our friend alison's thursday night, then friday morning we made her breakfast cause she always makes us dinner. josh made his famous tofu scramble and i made my yummy chocolate chip pancakes (yes, they were vegan!!) after our filling breakfast we drove out to the path in manyunk, just outside of philly. it was so nice and cool in the morning and we got on our bikes and rode, and rode, and rode some more. by the time we headed back, the cool breeze started to get a lot warmer. it reached 80 yesterday. we rode 20 miles by the end of the morning. what a work out!! josh said he was really surprised how well i did, cause we've never really gone for a serious ride like that yet. woohoo! first time!
after our ride i had to go back to campus for class at 1:40. that'll put a damper to your day. ok so class is over! josh was waiting for me at the campus coffee shop. we got coffee and headed back to my place for a quick shower. next on the agenda was frida!! we went to the philly museum of art to see the frida kahlo exhibit! it was simply breath taking. i knew a little bit about her, but after the exhibit, i felt like i got to know her as if she was there in the flesh. i saw HER. i saw her art, and i saw her heart. i don't think i've ever been to an exhibit and felt that intimate with the artist like that before.
by that time that was over we were starving and wanted something bad for our bodies like an energy drink or something haha..but instead we went to trader joes and stocked up on stuff to make for dinner. we had potatoes, and a mix of zucchini, squash, tomatoes, spinach, and tofurky italian sausage. bombbb!!! so delicious and not so bad for our bodies. while we ate, we snuggled up on the couch and finished the documentary we've been watching about corporations.
yeah i'd say it was a wonderful day. i have a shit load of homework that i did not even attempt to do. so i should probably get up on that..liiiiike now.
