 I am completely in love with the collaboration of Robert Plant (of Led Zeppelin fame) and Allison Kraus (country gal of the moment).

Their songs are so mellow, so Americana. They make me want to just go in the coun  t ry and smell the fresh air and chill on a blanket somewhere in the sunshine and contemplate life, especially Polly Come Home.

 Did you know that Calista Flockhart could sing? Neither did I. I'm listening now to her on my Comcast streaming Music Choice player, sing "Santa Baby" from Ally McBeal: A Very Ally Christmas, and it's not bad (even if that song is creepy).

I do like her (and Rob Lowe--SWOON) on Brothers & Sisters. Okay, I love everyone on the show really.

I took a mental health day from work today. Luckily the tonsillitis was a good excuse as well. I think my boss has a slight sickness-fear, so that helped.
