Done!! And so is the semester... *sniffle*
I'm FINALLY done with all my shit here.
It's hard to believe the semester's already over. There was a huge Indian lunch today, everyone got stuffed on tandoori chicken and curry and stuff like that. It was so tasty! There was a slide show and all that stuff too...but somehow it hasn't sunk in that this is the last weekend we'll all still be here. People will start going home next week...and I might not see some of these people again! It's really sad when you put it that way, but I still don't feel anything quite yet... I doubt things will turn teary-eyed or anything like that, since people will be leaving gradually and all that, but part of me feels like we should all be bidding tearful goodbyes. There's something so unfulfilling about it otherwise. *sigh*
I took my Japanese final this morning...I could've benefitted from some more studying, but I think I did all right. I bombed the kanji section, but I did all right on listening comprehension and reading comprehension (neither of which you can really cram for anyway)...and I have a pretty good grasp of grammar too, so...hopefully I did well.
Professor Copeland cancelled out Mod J Lit final too (scheduled for next week), which means I'M DONE DONE DONE!! Of course this means our papers are worth more now... My last paper got me some low marks, but I was ok because it didn't count for much...but now it does. *sigh* Good thing the grades aren't factored into our GPA. Although really, it would probably only help it...
I hope my final paper gets me a better grade, though...I really pulled it out of my ass this time.
It was due Monday, and so I arrived at school that day with 0 of 8 pages written, thinking SHIT SHIT SHIT SHIT SHIT!!! Somehow I got all 8 pages done by 5:20pm (it was due at 5), despite a morning full of classes, and an afternoon class from 1-2:30. God I'm good.
So now all I have left is the exit test on Monday, but that's just for evaluation purposes and has no bearing on our grade, so....yeah.
Tonight I'm heading to da club in Osaka as a treat. I'm really excited.....except I'm also a little sleepy... *yawn* maybe I'll take a nap beforehand...
