Time to do the entry I've been meaning to do for a while now. Talk about my marvelous classes.
Drawing I: Oh my god! I absolutely love this class! Jim is hilarious and he's a great professor. So far we've done stuff with sharpies and pencils. I got a C on my first project! Wow! I was so excited about that. I seriously thought I did badly. He was quite impressed with our class average. He really liked my hedgehog plushie that I used for my in class project with the sharpies. He used in an example twice on two different days and he's played with it. So. I have named the hedgehog: Jim. He's wacky, but he knows what he's talking about and he doesn't expect too much of us. He just wants us to complete the assignments and learn from our mistakes. I love the class. I feel so cool with my giant portfolio. Plus it's a new weapon. All in all. I'm enjoying the class.
ANOVA/Experimental Design: Kind of confusing class, but still good. The professor is entertaining and he knows what he's talking about. Anna and Matt are in my class and in my group. It helps to know people. Less awkward. Regular homework, but it's worksheets. w00t. So. I like the class. It's annoying and kinda hard, but in the end it will help when I have to do my senior psychology project. This is the only class that I have a group project in. How weird is that?
First Aid & CPR: Great class and very helpful. We might even finish the class early! She said most of her First Aid classes don't even enter the final month! We also have skills test days and don't have to go to all of 'em! This is gonna be an easy, but practical class. I like it.
Chorus: Not much to say about this class except I love it. We're singing a bunch of Aaron Copland songs, a Handel song, and a song composed by Benjamin Brittan and words by Christopher Smart, who apparently spent most of his life in an insane asylum. It's a very strange song, but the music is good.
Experimental Psychology: I love this class. No papers or projects! Only quizzes, tests, and review games! This is a good thing since most of my time will be devoted to drawing and stats. I like the professor and he has dogs! He might even bring one of them in every now and then! ^^ <3 Education and pet therapy! w00t. Kind of a boring class, but it'll be helpful in the end.
I have a history class, too, but it's online so I don't have much to say about it. Sarah is also in it, so we can do the stuff together. w00t.
Monday was interesting. I had just finished (mostly) my drawing project and the fire alarms started to go off. Grabbed wallet, keys, cellphone, and the uncle shirt (the camp shirt that my Auntie El gave me. It belonged to my Uncle Rod). We fled the building and I'm so glad that I live on the first floor near a door. Longer exposure to that deafening sound would've made me pass out. Seriously, I felt horribly disoriented and ready to faint. So we stood outside and chatted. Then Carl, Cody, Sarah, Rachael, me, and some other people descended upon Dale's room in C-Hall and then moved to the lounge. Hung out till we could return. Turns out a belt in the a/c unit that cools the halls and lounges broke and burned. The fire alarm light also kept going, but it stopped eventually. 'Twas most interesting.
All in all. Things are good. I'm enjoying myself and I'm in a much better situation this year. ^^ <3 Also, Anime Club shall be quite an adventure. Interesting things might happen.
Not getting much of my writings done nor is my webcomic been given any attention. I'm having too much fun doing other things. I kinda miss the writing and stuff, but I will return to it eventually. I have many ideas, but none that completely capture my interest. ^^;;;
I have a new goal! It's a tiny and crappy goal, but I have one. Yay! My newest goal is to have an entry title that begins with each letter of the alphabet by the end of the year. I'm only missing five or sommat. whee.
Catch ya' on the flipside, mates!
