"I'd be rich if I sold all my DVDs and manga, but some of my 'inners' would rebel and kill me."

Aug 11, 2007 20:51

The phrase: "I will end you" attached to some scenario keeps popping into my head. >>;;; I can't help it. I love that phrase.

I've been feeling sick since last night, but I have no fever or any other real symptoms. I have felt nausea a bit every now and then, my appetite is lacking, and I've had something similar to hot flashes along with minor chills. Bleh. However, I have no fever and can still function quite well, so I've been working all day. I have accomplished much and learned as well.

First - I have way more DVDs than I thought I did.
Second - The severe underestimation of the quantity of discs has overwhelmed the two CD binders that hold 136 discs each. I will have to upgrade. TV shows fit, but the movies went beyond.
Third - Not all DVDs are created equal. Some require a different sort of binder slot that I do not have. These are the troublesome two sided discs. ><** I shall do more hunting tomorrow if I feel better.

Anyway. So I have all the lists and stuff organized. I also have been working on the manga as well. I have a compiled a list of what I have. I think it's all I have... >>;;; Mind you I've been collecting manga since probably 8th grade or so.

Without further ado. The massively organized list of what manga I have acquired over the years.

Angelic Layer, Full Metal Alchemist, Planet Ladder, Rurouni Kenshin, and Sailor Moon.

There you have it. I probably have thousands of dollars worth of manga, but I doubt I'd give any of 'em up. The ones that I am bringing for sure are: Wallflower, Ouran Host Club, Black Cat, Tenshi Ja Nai, Night of the Beasts, Fruits Basket, Bleach, Mars, Pet Shop of Horrors, Millenium Snow, Dragon Knights, Azu Manga Daioh, Vampire Knight, Samurai Deeper Kyo, Chibi Vampire, and From Far Away. I'll probably bring almost all of 'em in the end, but probably not all at once. *Shrug* Maybe I will. I love my manga. ^^ <3

All my DVDs are coming with me too, but in binders. I shall have to control my spending though. --;; Luckily, the majority of my manga series seem to be coming to an end or already have. *shrug* Meh. I get what I can.

Are there any Truman peeps out there who know the height of the lofts in the dorms? I kinda need to know in order to plan out my bookcase type thing.

The damned bookstore sites won't let me order my books! The Truman Bookstore won't even let me register and Patty's keeps talking about choosing a damned location. I've tried and nothing happens! ><** It's really pissing me off. I've never had this much trouble ordering before! It's frustrating and really annoying.

Saw Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix. As a movie it's really good, but they really lost the depth of the story. Fight at the ministry was disappointing. However, I have to remember that there were a lot of things they had to cover and not a lot of time, so naturally a lot of the book's depth would be lost. The DA lesson scenes were great! I wanted to see more of Tonks. Like I said: As a movie it's great, but as a good adaptation of the book... Not so much. It's decent, hits all the major story points without being hard to follow, and the changes were well made. It had some quirks that the books don't have either. All in all. I liked it. I worry for the next two movies though... There's a lot in them that the movies will need to cover in order for people to be able to follow the story.

Meh. I'm done. I feel like crap and need to recover from hours of sorting and organizing. My left shoulder hurts like hell.

Oh yeah! We've named the hummingbirds that are coming to our feeder! The female is Josephine and the male is Napoleon. XD They're so cute. We've also had an adult Cooper's Hawk teaching a juvenille how to hunt! So freakin' cool to see 'em. ^^ <3 I love birds.

Anyway, time to go chill for a bit.

Catch ya' on the flipside, mates!
