"Winter and I have a love-hate relationship. Love the snow. Hate the ice."

Well, my attempt to go out and get supplies failed. I got fed up with the ice on my windshield. So I just turned on my car and let it the engine run for a bit. I'm gonna do that tomorrow, too... Since my engine almost didn't start. --;; Bleh. So I went to the C-store instead to get some food. Better idea since I have to conserve what money I have until the check is deposited on the 16th.

I've been working on the story I'm temporarily calling "College Drama". No idea why I call it that when it's not really going to be a drama. More like a parallel universe thing. More fantasy-ish than dramatic. However, I'm torn between writing it as a story or turning it into a comic. --;; Because some things would be easier to deal with if I were doing it in comic form, but I could have more dialogue if I did it in story form. For now I'm using story format with some cheap short cuts. Who knows. Maybe I'll combine them like Alien Dice does. She does a comic with the basic dialogue and puts the full text below. Well... Most of the time. XD It's hard to choose because I have some really good images in my head, but at the same time I enjoy writing a lot of dialogue. --;; Meh. I don't have to make a choice till I feel like putting it up somewhere.

It's fun to write because my character's different from most of my others. She doesn't have a terrible and rough past. Maybe a few angsty things here and there, but all in all she's had a marvelous life. She's an ordinary college student who writes an advice column for the school newspaper and runs a small website for her story. The only real quirk she has is... Much of the story she writes is based on reality. Not even her friend, Lyn, knows her secret. Kat prefers it that way. Keeps people safe and preserves her privacy. XD Plus I can come right out with that secret since she's the main character and it's going to be so freakin' obvious from the summary of the story, which will be a major relief compared to any of the other stories where secrets are not supposed to be as obvious. Plus. It's not a fantasy world. It's not the future. It's more of an alternate universe, which actually makes things easier. XD Not as many technical details to work out.

I think I'm gonna have a lot of fun with it. w00t.

Other than working on my writing, I've also been reading comics and cleaning up my room to get it ready for tomorrow's event. I'm excited about moving everything around. Well. Almost everything. Then hopefully conditions will be good enough to go to Columbia on monday. I wanna start on my room now, but the thing I have to move first is the bed and that'll require help from people.

Meh. Back to work.

Catch ya' on the flipside, mates!
