Marius: This album’s love point is that from ballads to cool songs, songs from different genres are put in.

Sou: There are no solo songs, and the five of us sing in all of them, but the singing parts were figured out. Even though it’s a combination that wasn’t there often until now, singing was fun. Having a lot of songs that, if the fans hear it, they will do their best and come to like the song, is also a love point.

Marius: The changing jacket cover is also my favorite. And the limited edition version’s bonus muffler and towel too! It looks fun if you’ll spin it around during concerts~♪

Sou: Certainly. By the way, aside from this album, what’s something you love now?

Marius: Sexy Zone. At “Kouhaku Uta Gassen” our bonds become even stronger, and the thing that me think “How nice” even more was during the Countdown. I was always looking at Kento-kun and Fuma-kun who were onstage, but Shori-kun and Sou-chan were also supporting the two of them with their eyes sparkling, right? Seeing that, I thought, “We’re a family”. Even if they separate the people who could appear and couldn’t appear in the Countdown, it felt like our feelings were connecting. That’s why for me, it’s Sexy Zone love! How about Sou-chan?

Sou: Maybe it’s my school friends. Because as an ordinary high school student, times when you can talk about different things is also important.

Marius: What kind of talks?

Sou: Talks about part-time jobs and talks about love and such. I’m an expert at listening, and listening to my friend’s lovey-dovey stories, I shout “How sneaky-!!”

Marius: Speaking of  my class, there are only three boys. Even though there are 16 girls.

Sou: Then, Marius is popular, right? (laughs)

Marius: Ugh, saying something like that!! (angry) The popular one is Fuma-kun, I think?

Sou: I understand! Because the the degree to which Kikuchi-san is a good guy is amazing. Even though he has the habit of using rough language, when I order from a meal delivery service and I don’t have money, he’ll say “Get it from my wallet”.

Marius: Even when I was by myself and lonely while I was staying at home, he contacted me and said "I’m out for a drive with my parents, but shall I go to your house?”

Sou: Wait a minute! Why are you opposing me with this Fuma-kun episode!!

Marius: Because he’s my Fuma-kun ♪

Sou: …… But really, Kikuchi-san is the most popular.

Marius: But Kento-kun is like a prince in appearance and personality, and Shori-kun is also a special presence, so they can be admired by everyone.

Sou: Recently, it feels like the number of girls whose hearts skip a beat because of Fuma-kun’s kind of coolness has increased. The so-called gap fascination. (T/N: The word used was gap moe, which, according to Google search, is a phrase used to describe the fascination with a person/character who does things that seem not to fit with his/her image. In this case, Fuma speaks in a very rough manner but does kind things.)

Marius: Then, between me and Sou-chan, which one seems popular?

Sou: I don’t know that! In the first place, except in interviews, I separate myself from the “love” category, to the extent of not daydreaming about things such as “If I go out with a girl…”.

Marius: Even if he has a girl he likes, Sou-chan seems like he absolutely won’t say it.

Sou: I won’t say.

Marius: But if it were me I would want to say “This girl is my angel”.

Sou: Marius is still a bit of a child. Very kind. To the extent that, aren’t you too kind?

Marius: I’ve had enough of that word. I get told “You’re too kind” a lot by my friends in school.

Sou: Hahahahahahaha!

Marius: For example, if I go somewhere. If I’ll buy souvenirs only for my close friends, other people will get jealous, so even though I use up of all my New Year’s money, I’ll buy for everyone in class. And then, they say “You’re too kind”…

Sou: Part of me is like that too. But isn’t that a good thing? If not, you won’t be too kind and you’re quite likely to become a handyman. (I seriously don’t get what Sou was trying to say. The original phrase was “じゃなくて、あまりやさしすぎると便利屋さんになりかねないよ、ってこと”. Help, anyone?)

Marius: Even so, that’s okay. I want to give anything to the girl I like.

Sou: Really? But there must be eras where that extent of kindness was a component in being popular.

Marius: This era is different… Sou-chan, let’s do our best? (laughs)

~END~

So, this ends my very delayed Valentine’s Day Project! I hope you guys had fun reading this (and maybe the rest of the translations I did for this project). Ugh, Marius, each time I do translations for Sexy Zone, he manages to say something awesome. This time, it’s him saying even though they were separated, their feelings were still connecting. By the way, do you guys remember how Shori suddenly fell and got twisted upside down when FumaKen went to their seats during the countdown? Major LOL. XD

As always, I am still learning the language, so please bear with me. Any comments and corrections are very much appreciated! :)
