my life has been work-run errands-sleep lately, with nothing much in between. light on the sleep, it should be noted.
but i'm making sure to vote for my favorite american idol contestants. apparently it doesn't appear to help, because sundance was voted out while sanjaya is still in the running. wtf, people?! seriously - is his family a billion people strong and paying others to also call in? it's ridiculous.
i am the proud owner of a new HP pavilion laptop with the most RAM one can fit on a laptop, an intel core duo processor, you name it. now i need to sign up for sprint wireless mobile broadband, and i'll be able to be a normal person, checking e-mail and updating lj during my lunch break.
work is just lovely. apparently i'm supposed to be a web developer, web graphic designer, *and* content expert. i have to laugh (and sometimes laugh maniacally after closing my office door) or i'll cry. i'm creating a new web site by changing an existing site - long story short, i'm changing the css files along with the text and images. but this site is insane, with 5 css files. why?! there's absolutely no need, and it's driving me batty (battier?).
this weekend - spontaneous road trip to nyc for the international hair show. hopefully i'll have time to swing by the balenciaga boutique to cop a feel of the new season's handbags. so pretty! and i'll bet they feel soft and smooshy, too. (just ignore this if you're not as obsessed with handbags as i am. rest assured i'm not the only one who thinks such things.)
