I'm in such a vicious mood this week -- but the chapter left me feeling all better again (at least temporarily XD)
- LMAO USSOP
- SABOOOOOOOOOO. His design is unexpected! (not the scar, which sharp eyes noticed a long time ago, but the hair -- I'd gotten used to all the cropped fan designs that were extrapolating from his chibi design*.) But I like! But I feel so conflicted about him getting the fruit after all! Also this raises more questions than it answers! (Where/How did Doflamingo get his hands on it!)

Like on one hand it's really fitting that he's the one to get it. And I LOVE that he just fucking took it and ate it, no hesitation or quibbling. But on the other hand from what we've seen he was already more than strong enough without it (and I was still pulling for Rebecca to get it -- still wanna see another female logia soooooooomedayyyyyyyy) -- the dragon theming did make it kinda obvious he was going to end up with it though. And on the other other hand something about this feels too easy, I'm still waiting for the catch or for the other shoe to drop or something eeeeee.
- KOALAAAAAAAAA holy CRAP I've been shipping her and Sabo so hard ever since their single page of interaction in the chapter they were (re)introduced in. And all the shiptease in this chapter.... *FLAIL* (that moment where she plops on his hat apkljg;dag;ijldha;iog)
(And it still KILLS me that they wear matching clothes. LMAO)
- So does this imply Pica is Dofla's golem?!?!? or something.... Birdcage definitely makes me think of the castle first and foremost. Something something puppets? It's been interesting to me actually that Dofla's peeps are very subtly themed (their skills are all/mostly manipulation oriented for lack of a better way to put it -- contrast Crocodile who was [amusingly] way more interested in directly aggressive/destructive abilities for his BW [because the only purpose they served was for his particular end goal]). Bird refers to Dofla himself I suppose? (I wonder if Monet harpyfied herself to emulate his bird theme?)
