Just want to note this for posterity's sake (though my track record for this series is pretty bad aside from FBI shipping and Akai stuff :P), especially since things are heating up again:
Noticed more than a few people assuming that she was tearing up because she's got a crush on Kudo/Conan but has pretty much figured out Ran's relationship with him among other things.
Uhhhhh. You realize she said Ran was "her type" right? No, don't think she's a lesbian alas (suspect that was mostly to push the red herring re: her gender during her intro)... But I do think she likes Ran a lot. Whether or not this has anything to do with Ran's prior connection with Akai, who knows, we'll probably have to wait and see if Sera really is Akai's sister. But I'm willing to bet that Sera hasn't had many female friends who are fighter-types, if any at all...
So nope, don't think she's harboring a secret crush on Conan. (I like to think I am better at reading Gosho's romantic cues than his plot cues :P -- yeah I am never gonna let go of the fact that I totally called Jodie/Akai years before he confirmed it. :P :P) Anyway, I think she feels guilty that she's about to expose Conan's identity and probably going to cause a rift between them or put Conan in some serious danger/break Ran's heart. If the Akai/Sera theories are correct, then she probably is willing to do anything in order to dig out her brother's whereabouts.
If it turns out Sera really does have feelings for Conan... wtf I am going to be so annoyed.
Seriously though, she's got loads more tension/chemistry with Ran than she does with Conan and it's pretty clear to me that figuring out Kudo/Conan is just a means to an end for her.
But I'm willing to be wrong, I guess. :P

Aquarion: I take back whatever I said about Andy/Mix -- Mix is pretty awesome and they're cute when they're not being over-the-top. Alas, Andy still kind of makes me wince.
... Actually, looking back at previous posts, I guess my feelings on this haven't changed as much as I thought lol. (Just noticed I never actually mentioned Mix.)
I also just recently realized that we're already on what, episode 17/18 19? I cannot believe I watched so much of this shit. XDDDD *shakes fist* I was expecting way, way, waaaaaay more plot development much sooner. I was also hoping for Amata to get LESS SPINELESS*. Is that too much to ask? (Annoying as he is, Andy is at least likeable, good lord.)
But I am nonetheless still faithfully watching the show, so clearly it's doing something right...
Or I just have really bad taste. XD
