I dunno why I feel compelled to keep up on anime when I'm not even really watching anything anymore, but old habits die hard or something. (bolded is "definite watch"/"currently" watching)
1. I'm super behind on Star Driver but really need to carve out time to catch up.
2. After flipping through the existing scanlations of Fractale I decided it wasn't my thing. Reading blogs on the episodes seems to confirm that decision. The concept art lied T_T
3. Hourou Musuko/Wandering Son. Looks so good. Honestly the only Winter show I'm interested in. Need to find time to catch up.
4. It's a pretty good year for Noitamina actually:
Spring:
A. [C] -- the Kenji Nakamura thing.
short trailer has been out for a while, I am excite!
B. Ano blahlbhalbhalbhalbha a.k.a.
AnoHana -- Honey & Clover II director. Actually, it looks like moe blahblah stuff to me but there's also a chance it could be something better so will keep an eye out.
Summer:
BUNNY DROP (
wiki): OMG, love this manga. (Single dude raises his deceased grandfather's illegitimate daughter. It is the CUTEST. T_T) I am sooo watching the adaptation.
5. MOstly I'm looking forward to AO NO EXORCIST (
official site) of course. I don't even care if the adaptation fucks it up at this point (I'm like 99% confident it will be awesome anyway, due to the staff). Viz finally licensed the manga apparently too; hope this finally gets the series the fans it deserves stateside. This is seriously my favorite shounen series right now.
6. I may also have to check out
Tiger and Bunny though. Just because. (new original Sunrise mecha series with the KARAS DIRECTOR.) I hope this is as insane as it looks.

I wish I were embarrassed to admit that Giant Killing is one of the only series semi-regularly making me happy recently. (Someone picked up scanlating where the anime left off! Squee! [I was reading raws before >_>]) But I'm not.
My other two "pick-me-up" series being Ao no Exorcist and Skip Beat, of course.
.... come to think of it, (aside from the addition of Giant Killing] I don't think this has changed at all since this time last year.
This week's Naruto and Bleach did make me happy though. (Why am I still following Naruto. WHY) Ino got her moment of badass, as did Orihime (!!!!! <3333). And last week's Fairy Tail made the Loki/Lucy shipper in me pleased XP (not to mention the revelation about Lucy's mother! Whoo). Still waiting for a new plot arc in Detective Conan...
Scanlations for
Fukuyadou Honpo were completed back in January btw so if you haven't checked that one out yet, I highly rec it (despite the bad art XD). I've mentioned it a few times here; just can't seem to write up a good review that doesn't end up very, very personal.
Hmmm. So I've got seinen, shounen, and shoujo pick-me-ups. Clearly I need to find a josei replacement for Fukuyadou now....
Which reminds me that I should catch up on 3gatsu no Lion. Which is actually seinen. I think I stopped because one of the chapters made me cry for a really long time.

Argh, why is the TV on all day now that we have it again.
