Oh hawtness
I have three posts in mind for today. Maybe I should spread them out. ._.
ANYWAY THIS WEEK'S BLEACH IS AWESOME LIKE YOU WOULD NOT BELIEVE.
Having been a hardcore Gin fan from the very moment he was introduced years and years ago, even through all the ambiguity and moments of chilling villainy and the bittersweet relationship with Rangiku... this week's chapter really has me super happy (and nervous).
Gin's an amazing character no matter what side he falls on in the end (but then, I have a particular weakness for double/triple/quadruple agent type characters, especially when they also fall under the trickster archetype). What really takes the cake for me is the combination of kitsune and snake imagery used for him (you all know I adore my snakey imagery when done well, i.e. gogo Soul Eater's Medusa and booooo Naruto's Orochimaru) -- speaking of which oh man the cover this week is incredible. (That mask! The grove, the lights, the white kimono.)
You know, even more than an Aizen/Urahara chessmaster showdown.... what I want to see is a Gin/Urahara showdown someday. (Aizen's no fun at all. :P)
