It has been announced on 1 September that the TBS drama Ikemen Desu Ne (Friday, 10pm), the remake of the original Korean drama featuring Jang Geun Suk, will be made into a stage play.

In the stage play, Ren will be played by Kis-My-Ft2 member Kitayama Hiromitsu (25) (the drama version = Kisumai's Tamamori Yuta), Shu will be played by Uchi Hiroki (24) (drama version = Kisumai's Fujigaya Taisuke) and Yuuki by Kisumai's Miyata Toshiya (22) (drama version = Hey!Say!JUMP!'s Yaotome Hikaru). The heroine played by Takimoto Miori (19) in the drama will be played by Takahata Mitsuki (19). According to the 4 of them, the live version will be worth watching.

Kitayama, who is receiving the baton from his band member Tamamori, said spiritedly, "I was really shocked when I first heard the news. Jang Geun Suk, then Tamamori and now me. But I have the confidence to show the Ren that only I can be, so I'm really excited. I'll give it my best." Miyata agreed, "We'll make an Ikemen Desu Ne that can only be done on stage."

It will be performed at Asakasa ACT Theatre, Tokyo, from 8~20 October. From 6~9 November, it will be performed at Morinomiya Piroti Hall, Osaka.
