Summary: The iTunes 10 song challenge; KyuMin is about the ups and downs.

A/N: After the first 3 songs I started cheating :L i.e listened to the song more than once; and I did some song skipping >__> i fail :L

01 Wait For You - Elliott Yamin
Sungmin stood by the door, watching the steady breathing of Kyuhyun's body. 'Goodbye's were already hard enough... Sungmin would leave without telling Kyuhyun. It would be for the best, right? Because he knew he would stay if Kyuhyun asked him too, but Sungmin really needed to leave.... to leave behind everything. Sungmin's eyes scanned the room. His half of the room was devoid of him - not a sign that he used to live there. It was for the best, right?
02 Care - Akanishi Jin
His words were so empty to him now. "I love you" were as simple as "How are you?"s. They were simply said as a formality, as something that was expected of them. They had grown too far apart; relationships in the entertainment business never thrived. They always collapsed under the enormous pressure.
03 DISTANCE - KAT-TUN
The voice drifted to his ears, under the harsh loudness of the club music. The voice that he hadn't heard for years.
Under the streetlights, his face was just as beautiful. It was the same face Sungmin had fallen in love with three years before. It was the same face that had broken his heart.
04 Umbrella - Rihanna ft. Jay-Z
Sungmin walked quickly through the rain which was mercilessly pounding into the ground. He was looking for shelter; the rain wasn't going to ease up anytime soon; the raindrops were becoming heavier and heavier every second. The people around him were thinking the same; some running through the rain, some calling taxis to pick them up. Everyone, except one person who stood silently with his clear umbrella, looking ponderously into the darkening sky. Sungmin's curiosity got the better of him and he made his way to him, shoving past the throngs of rowdy, wet people.
The man was curiously watching the raindrops fall on his transparent umbrella. He looked peculiar being the only one standing there with his umbrella; everyone moved past like a blur. Sungmin's eyes locked onto the man's face, and it was a face that he recognized.
"Kyuhyun."
And as another torrent of rain came flashing down, Kyuhyun turned to look at Sungmin.
05 In My Arms - Super Junior-M
Sungmin looked at Kyuhyun on his hospital bed. Sungmin was here as 'moral support'; Kyuhyun had just had his middle ear surgery*, but recently their relationship had been awkward. Really awkward and really difficult. Sungmin couldn't understand why he was the one asked to be with Kyuhyun; just because they were roommates?
But Sungmin sat diligently near the edge of the bed in the uncomfortable armchair the hospital provided. Sungmin awkwardly sat there for what seemed like eternity as he watched the doctors and nurses check on Kyuhyun. As they left, the atmosphere seemed more tense, and even more awkward. Sungmin didn't know what to say to Kyuhyun; he knew that the recent 4th album promotions had tired him out... but what could he say to make everything better?
"Sit on the bed," Kyuhyun beckoned in a tired voice after a few minutes. Sungmin looked warily at him before joining Kyuhyun on the bed.
Suddenly, Kyuhyun pulled Sungmin in for a hug; Sungmin was shocked at first but slowly complied and hugged him back.
Actions always spoke louder than words, and Sungmin now knew that their relationship had already mended itself.

06 Summary - KAT-TUN & NEWS
"It's a bright new future if we leave," Kyuhyun said, "If we leave we can do all the things we've wanted to!"
"If we leave," Sungmin replied, "We'll never escape."
The chance of them leaving the sordid world that had shaped their lives was very, very low. But maybe if they put their minds, their courage, their hope to it, then maybe they could escape. Maybe.
07 One Step At A Time - Jordin Sparks
"When will he wake up?"
"We're not sure," the doctor replied sincerely, "We're not sure if he'll wake up at all."
Kyuhyun pondered on that thought, refusing to let his tears fall down. His hands tightly holding onto Sungmin's as he listened to his soft heartbeat via the machine. He watched that single line that could take Sungmin away, and he wished that he had treated Sungmin better. He wished that he could fix all of his mistakes. He wished he could do everything, anything to see Sungmin's smile again.
But it was already, possibly, far too late...
08 Unfaithful - Rihanna
Kyuhyun wishes he could make Sungmin feel better. He wishes he could reenter the door he just exited, and tell Sungmin that he loves him. But they both know that it would be a lie.
Sungmin wishes Kyuhyun would come back to him. He wishes that Kyuhyun would fix all his mistakes, and try to be the same happy couple they used to be. But they both know it wouldn't be the same.
Zhou Mi wishes Kyuhyun would just give up on Sungmin. He wishes that Kyuhyun would leave Sungmin, and be with him. But he knows that asking Kyuhyun to leave Sungmin would be like asking him not to breathe.
09 Cries In Vain - Bullet For My Valentine
Sungmin used to know what to do. He used to say "No" and walk away. But it was unfortunate, like the many other before him, that he had fallen into the web of drugs, ecstasy and sex. It had all started with a smart, kind boyfriend, but he should've known that it was all just a facade. Kyuhyun was everything but what he seemed; it was him whom had introduced him to everything, to the bright new world. It was the same tedious routine, but he enjoyed it nonetheless - drugs; cocaine, ice, Ecstasy - and then Kyuhyun would shamelessly fuck him into some random bed, the wall, the floor - anywhere Kyuhyun felt like it.
Sungmin no longer knows what to do but it's not like he's going to try and break his habit.
10 Someone Wake Me Up - The Veronica's
Sungmin wants to wake up beside Kyuhyun once more. He wants to be in Kyuhyun's comforting arms. He wants to hear the quick clicks of the mouse as Kyuhyun obsessively plays StarCraft. He wants to hear Kyuhyun's wonderful voice once more. He wants to speak and be heard. He wants to be comforted by Kyuhyun every time he has a nightmare. He wants Kyuhyun, and only Kyuhyun.
But what's the point of wanting, when that person no longer wants you? What's the point of wanting Kyuhyun if Sungmin knows that he'll only break his heart again? Would it be worth the hurt to be in his arms once more?
