Her usual neat and proper handwriting had been shaky and tearstains marred the parchment. He couldn’t get his reply out fast enough. He said that she couldn’t do it, that they’d find another way to keep them safe. He couldn’t even imagine her parents not remembering they had a daughter. Who could forget Hermione Granger?
