Chapter 1: Winter
A brutal attack in the news and a Care of Magical Creatures lesson gives Lily much to think about.
Chapter 2: Action
James latest attempt to woo Lily only ends up infuriating her and a confrontation with Snape sets things in motion ...
Chapter 3: Consequence
James learns that their actions have consequences, while said consequences mystifies everyone else not in on the secret.
Chapter 4: Ash Christmas
The events of Ash Christmas leave both James and Lily shaken.
Chapter 5: Aftermath
Lily and James have to make sense of their world following Ash Christmas attack and earlier actions.
Chapter 6: Resolution
Life starts to come together again, but some things have changed.
Epilogue
The year ends, but not without hope for the future.
