I track
springtime_gen posts, so there are probably about 10 of them in my inbox waiting for me to catch up. The title of the latest one caught my eye, though, and I had to skip to it instead of catching up in order as I had planned.
The story is
Till Your Frightened Eyes Do Close. (Luna, Mr Ollivander, PG-13. Albus Dumbledore once said: "Happiness can be found even in the darkest of times, if one only remembers to turn on the light." For Mr Ollivander, having Luna come join him in captivity was like finding a switch.)
From Vienna Teng's Lullabye for a Stormy Night! Well, my eyes lit up immediately.
And the story is gorgeous. Firstly, it's Luna, and who doesn't like Luna? So perfectly in-character, so beautifully written, I had a completely gushing review at the end of it (the second longest I've given in this fest, I believe). Luna absolutely shines in this. I think it really brings out who she is.
It's when I read fics like this that I get so curious about who the author is. Thanks to the Luna love plus the Vienna Teng references I have an urge to friend them right away. (I almost wrote that in the review then decided it might seem too stalkerish to be all HU R U CAN I HAV UR BABIES PLZ?)
