~So when that teenage dipshit tripped me when we were skating on Saturday night not only did I give myself a sweet bruise on my knee, but I also pulled something in my arm. Changing gears is actually rather painful. :( I now wish even more than I did at the time that I'd just fallen ON him instead of trying to avoid.
~In further news of things I discovered today: it's once again windy enough down in the yard that I leant over - maybe twenty degrees, if that - and my shirt blew up and tried to fly off over my head. THANKS, SUMMER. If that IS indeed your real name. *squintyface*
~Also, apparently the bathroom in the lab is full of bees. I don't even know. I am not okay with this state of affairs. :(
~We just started watching Episodes in the flat, and Matt LeBlanc with salt-and-pepper hair looks terrifyingly like the love child of Richard Dean Anderson and the clone that he would TOTALLY DO. DDDD: CAN'T UNSEE IT. HELP.
~Totally sprayed the weeds out front when I got home tonight like a mf-ing adult. \o/
~Cookies are great. I should remember to make them more often.
~I've realised the flaw in my "buy a really ridiculously comfortable couch" plan. It's that now I've spent two weekends on it I am really reluctant to LEAVE it.
~The bb!Hay who's at the Youth Olympics in Austria for individual skills competes tomorrow and she's seeded FOURTH. (!) (The Hays appear to be our version of the Staals. Honest to god like four out of six kids are in semi-pro or junior hockey. And yes, I feel creepy for knowing this.)
~Division 3 World Juniors starts tomorrow in Dunedin! GO KIWIS.
