Facts that are true. And tenuously connected. And also ridiculous.
1. I am back home in New Zealand.
2. The glow sticks I chickened out of bringing to Brisbane with me are sitting on my desk taunting me.
3. If I flew out on Monday night after work I could get to Sydney and only miss Jay Z (time zone magic!) and only miss a day and a half of work.
4. Flights back to Auckland on Weds are so expensive it is almost physically painful.
5. Calling in sick feels like it would be a bad idea.
6. Not going to Sydney feels like it would be a bad idea.
7. DEAR GRAB A SEAT SANTA, FOR THE LOVE OF TAWG PLEASE DO SOMETHING AWESOME. TODAY.
In a completely unconnected chain of events, I bought my coworkers Toblerone in the Duty Free. (Okay, it was more because the reference amuses me (I am SUCH A LOSER) and because it meant I got 50 bonus Fly Buys points, but hey.)
