we just got home. we may be somewhat delirious. the show was awesome. 4.30am was not awesome but the show was awesome and so worth it.
HEY SO WHAT IF I ACCIDENTLY GET ON A PLANE TO SYDNEY ON SATURDAY DO YOU THINK WORK WOULD NOTICE?
...gonna go with probably. but. aaaaaaaaaaaaah. i am composed entirely of gross sweat and gleeeeeeeeee.
also, this thing Bono said in Auckland that struck me as particularly Milesian at the time TOTALLY MAKES SENSE now. at the time i was just all "oh Bono, how are you so Bono?"
BY THE WAY, HOW ARE THEY ALL EVEN PEOPLE?? deeply attractive and awesome people. but seriously.
i have had an amazing 48 hours with needleandspoon,
la_woman and
mrsquizzical. line buddies ftw. we triumph eternally over all obstacles. except for the Brisbane police department who somehow put us on a highway in the complete opposite direction to where we needed to go TWICE in the space of two days, and from two totally different approaches, too. hee. but aside from that!
in related news, i am deeply in love with both my deck chair and my ereader. without whom the past 48 hours would have been far less pleasant. especially given the high degree of SQUISH going on with the GA ground yesterday. but seriously. sonia and ally win at life for getting me the chair. ♥
in conclusion: when bananas are in your life, you should ALWAYS use protection.
