Oh, I was going to say - the quote I keep thinking of (you can probably guess the author if not the precise title?) is something like "I think I look quite pretty when my hair is done a particular way, but a truly pretty girl would look pretty no matter how her hair was done."

I suspect I can indeed. I realise I am not certain I could actually come up with any quotes from that author, unless I were to quote things about Cecily (? right?) not being long for this world (which: boy did I not understand what that meant when I was a bb!Claire.)
