(no subject)
Oh, man, coming home to a clean tidy room is AMAZING. I have almost finished unpacking entirely - it's basically random toiletries on my bed left to reorganise and put away - and I know where stuff is and my room still looks pretty good and just- yay.
My flight back went pretty well - I have a ridic stream of consciousness post on the laptop for later, but I'm on my desktop now, and hoo boy, after 24 days of a 9" screen? My flatscreen 21" monitor appears GINORMOUS. Heeee.
Had a good morning after mum got me from the airport - read out in the garage for a bit, napped for two hours like a total lazy arse (admittedly, I haven't had unbroken sleep in about... two weeks now. Stupid cold.) and then went into town to meet jocondite for almost three hours, which was lovely. We are slightly codependant and thus lingered over our coffees for quite some time while catching up on life and exclaiming about how we missed each other's faaaaaaaaces. <3333
Aaaaaand now I plan to go off and separate out the pictures I can show my mother (most of them, this time, funnily enough) and the ones I unequivocally cannot (eg: Spencer Smith's Hed Iz Pasted On, Yaye (thanks Giddy! <3 :D); the Con Comm on stage at the drag show video). She looked at a couple this morning but I had to do some fast mousing to avoid a few that would've taken more explaining than I care to do to a parental figure. *g*
I will probably/hopefully not be around much this coming week - work will most likely be mad, and I have have HAVE to get my shit together more for Big Bang, so I'm going to try and wean myself back from the obsessive checking of the internets; I will catch up with y'all later. As always, email me if it's important/I should know.
