(no subject)
I am torn between \o/ - our panel got in! yay genderfuck! and DDDD: because... our panel got in! Which means we need to plan it eeeeeeeeek. It's possible I maybe overpressurise these things. However, I am obviously a little sad that we bandomers clearly got distracted and didn't coordinate a vote swing like we could've. I choose to blame our very active canon (lol feud with Criss Angel. OH RYAN ROSS.) and not at all the fact that I, at least, completely forgot to go back and look at the progress before voting closed. Oops. However! Who is keen for an unofficial panel? I am shamelessly volunteering our room, at a point to be determined when we see the schedule. Roomies - you guys don't mind, right? I will bribe you with TimTams to make sure of it! :D

I am actually part way through a post about my weekend, still (it was amazing and everyone who was here rules at life, I am just saying: you guys rock), but I just wanted to say, before I forget: Ange and I went second-hand bookshop crawling a little on Sunday morning, and I found Annie on My Mind, which I'd heard of, of course, but never seen to read before, so I grabbed that, and then read it before and after seeing Milk with B on Sunday afternoon, all of which left me in a combined state of flailargh and wanting to smack bigots. Heh. Both very good, though!
...unrelatedly to any of these topics I perhaps admitted to Kat this afternoon that most times I like bandom better than breasts. CONTEXT IS UNNECESSARY OKAY. I blame Jon Walker. :D
Also, it was ridiculously sweltering today - wtf, NZ? - and I got stuck down in the yard for ages in the hot, rainy weather in the middle of a swarm of mozzies and bugs. That is not my favourite thing to do. But now I have two days out of the office (training course I was meant to do in August but we were too understaffed and busy), which is yay because starting an hour later than normal, and boo because, well. I'm a little afraid of what the minion will get up to unsupervised? /bad person
Someone yell at me if I don't get the rest of my flights by this weekend, okay? <3
