Best coincidence of the day:
blademistress and I: *stuck in traffic*
Radio: *plays I Don't Care followed immediately thereafter by Shake It*
We: *have been stuck behind a truck with the licence plate "EMO546" the entire time and are thus giggling like mad*
In other news, I will catch up properly online later in the week - I'm trying to be militant with myself on actually going to bed early so that I don't, y'know, snap and go actually insane at work.
Also, there totally needs to be a word to describe that situation when you realise the trip you've booked weeks/months/ages ago gets you in to town exactly a day before/leaves a day after a band/event you really want to see. Like Jossing, but with travel and especially bands. Because I kind of want to start organising stuff for next year (also? apparently it is NOT too early for me to be chewing my nails about registration. Especially since I just realised it's Armageddon weekend here when signups are on, which means if the hotel doesn't have wireless I may be somewhat unstable.) but I just KNOW as soon as I set down dates someone will announce a tour that I can aaaaaaaalmost catch (U2, REM, Frames, Panic, LOOKIN' AT YOU GUYS HERE, on previous experience) and I'll have to change them. Heh. So, y'know. Verb me, guys!
