Okay. No one faint or anything, but I actually started writing out Christmas cards at work today. Admittedly, only at lunchtime, because for morning tea I had a mini packet of twisties and I didn't think anyone really needed orange fingerprints on their cards, but. Progress! Microscopic progress, yet it is progress all the same. \o/ (Although, having said that, may I please advise you all in advance that a) I have awful handwriting. I'm sorry, I've tried, teachers through the years have tried, but... thus it stays. And b) I'm left-handed. Like, extremely left-handed. (And anyone else who's snickering right now, yeah, I read that fic too. Heh.) But what that actually means is nine times out of ten any type of card I write ends up smudged because ink doesn't dry fast enough. So. Yeah. I swear I'm not as bad a slob as I may appear in text!)
More delightful mail today (*dance of smug-and-spoiled-ness*) - a card from confluencekid with a "give me coffee or give me death" badge attached (*GRIN* Thanks, A. You rule.) and a KICKASS zebra pen (I will always know where my zebra is! Also, the little box is super froody.) from blademistress. If it sounds a little like I'm skiting, it's cos I kinda am. Sorry? *sheepish* *but wants to share delight in mail and awesome friends with the internets, so.* Thank you both so much. <3<3
Finally, in glad tidings of comfort and joy-- I just went up to the dairy on a mission for [redacted local lollies] for [redacted LJ user], which I successfully found, but while I was up there, I ALSO discovered that they have grapefruit frujus. !! So either Tiptop have started making them again (\o/\o/\o/\o/\o/; and twmr), or the dairy just found a crate somewhere and if so, you better believe I'm gonna go back and stock up. Mmmm, grapefruit.
...wow. I think my email esploded while I was at work. I better go deal with that. <3

Maybe? - but I heard Pansy Division's "Homo Christmas" at work today and had to sequester myself in the corner with the sink before I lost my shit a little TOO publicly. OMG. So much awesome. I approve totally and think several bands should cover it, koff.)
