Whaaaaa? Okay, the power just flickered madly for the second time this hour, and we're not thunderstorming or anything, so goodness only knows what's going on. Gah!

Hi. I worked my butt off today and got lots done and feel quite cheerful about it (although apparently my hair feels differently and is making a concerted effort to leave my scalp en masse, whatever). How are you? :D
Also, it's good to work with geeks. I walked into the lunchroom today just in time to hear one of the guys claiming the mechanical problems were due to the flux capacitor. And then one of the other guys piped up without missing a beat "yeah, or the dilithium crystals." If I hadn't had a mouth full of mandarins I would've had to ask if the negative couplings on the hyperdrive were polarised, since it was pretty much all we were missing. (We've suggested taniwha and ancient curses weeks ago, thus the move to sf.) So I had to text Kat about how I can't make this shit up. (And about how Daniel and Ronon would be hot, but moving on, again. *grin*)
1I got up out of my comfy chair and went down to the end of the room and dug about until I found a torch with working batteries. I am certain if I hadn't done that the power would've gone out already. *sage nod*
EDIT: Oh, JESUS FUCK, that was unexpected. Nightline promo mentioned U2 at Cannes (enough to make me twitch and look up) and then they played footage from Chicago. *mindfuck*
