...well, that was a bit of a wash. to-ing and fro-ing to see the Fowlers and Nana Madge took longer than we thought, and then mum needed the internets for her work stuff after we got home from that, which means no new episode and goodbye thirty-odd tabs I haven't read yet. See you all later, then.
And, Emma - I'm awful and forgot to say, we got the package late last week (no one's remembering to check the mail at the moment - mum's never home because she's always at one work or another, I come from the opposite direction and have no desire to fight through Manurewa town centre of an afternoon after work and Mark's never home either) and it's lovely and thank you so very much - Mum thinks you're marvellous and are welcome to stay again any time. (Actually, both parents keep being all "Emma's so lovely" at random moments, so you've definitely made an impression) and also, in case you were wondering - I've got your green bracelets, your X Files CD and your David Gray CD from the car, still. Will aim to mail them back as soon as I can, okay? Sorry to be such an enormous flake.
Have been reading Peter's Room which is great, because it's an Antonia Forest I've never READ before which is the last time this will ever happen (failing something Complete and As Yet Undiscovered, natch, not that I think there would be) and also because it's more or less, as Chris said, the Marlows writing fanfic, which is just fun. Although people being priggish about it can go take a dip in the lake in winter, so.
Right. Bed. One more day of work and then SLEEPING IN and WEEKEND. Chris, are we doing anything? I forgot to email Jo, but otherwise, if you're wanting out of the house, we could carbon copy last Sunday again as a plan, if that suits? Or if you want a quiet weekend I'm fine with that too (though my mother will harrass me about "not getting out" which, hi, what the hell is work then? Sigh.)
