"it was the hail mary of cricket games!"

Chris and I are safely back home. Actually, have been for several hours, we've been waylaid by fandoms and dinner and generally not, you know, ignoring social contact for the computer. Except now we are in that she's on the regular desktop and I've whipped out the laptop (oh Miles. I had missed you. except for your tiny tiny keyboard that I'm no longer used to) for a wee while before bed. We made excellent time and had lots of fun, which I will hopefully record for me at least later, but not enough time/battery right now, especially because I have to get up at 6.15 tomorrow to make sure Chris and I are both up and out of the house in our various directions on time.

new job. starts at eight. nervous? me? um. yes. heh.

i. yeah, no brain right now. i would love several hours to myself to get my head on properly about everything, but it's pretty much proven anyway that me with spare hours turns into me wasting them anyway, so what the hell.

wondering what's going on in various other locations, hopefully people who're out and about can shoot me emails when they have time, otherwise: wishing you all a safe and productive and fun Sunday/Monday respectively.

And, Miss S? So sorry to be late, but I hope you had a great day, and happiest of happy birthdays. I hope there's many more wonderful experiences to come for you in this year. Happy 18th, sweetheart. Much, much love from the Kiwi. *hugs tight* Miss the crap out of you and I really wish I could be there to have toasted you and helped you make fun of Charlie. Er, not that we don't have other hobbies or anything, but, yannow.

(And, Charlie? Love and miss you too. Just showed Chris the suitcase video which I'd somehow missed doing earlier and it was so. good. to hear your voice. Take care, the both of you.)
