So I have no voice . . .
So my throat was a little sore/ticklish at the end of last week and this weekend, but nothing too major. Tuesday I lost my voice, and have been struggling to get it back ever since. Went to the doctor today after having a crying fit at work (I was tired, low blood sugar and I am sick, and I lost it), and was told I probably should see an ENT. He wants to stick a camera down my throat.
Dr. Internet says it's probably laryngitis, though cancer of the larynx is also possible. WTF. XD But it could be caused by a bacterial infection, so I am going to ask at work tomorrow about the clinic down the road (like, could they call them) and see if we can't get this settled once and for all.
Though, I do have a cold but that came AFTER I lost my voice.
Thankfully, my coworkers, while probably exasperated with crazy foreigners who work through their illnesses when they should be RESTING, have been pretty nice about it. I do like my job, a lot, but right now I am SO frustrated with my lost voice that I just feel like a failure EVERYWHERE.
Anyway, as long as it's not throat cancer, it's all good. XD
I think I will get a shower shortly, and maybe even sleep.
