I LOVE indulgent tropes (to me, this means all romcom scenarios that don't involve secondhand embarassment). Loooooooooooooove them. Here is a very not comprehensive list of indulgent tropes: pretend to be dating! undercover and running into someone you know who has to play along! snowed in! identity porn (whether superheroes or "omg YOU've been my penpal all along?!" or secret royalty)! long lost childhood friends that show up later and are hot! marriage of convenience or accident! oh snap, we've been dating all along! sentinel and guides au!
I also love body positivity (not in a preachy way), pet names, cuddling, drunken/drugged cuddling, bedsharing, puns, verklempt narrators, repressed narrators, outsider narrators, hurt/comfort, possessiveness/territorial jealousy, bondage, competence (or other characters being into the other one's competence), bickering, domesticity, protagonist-centric morality, and friend side characters
I'd rather not read about death, drug addiction, time travel, embarassing situations or porn without a lot of feelings in it/buildup of ust.
I am totally fine with handwaving of canon timelines! So long as your fic is internally consistent, I will be happy.

Moon Jae Shin/Gu Yong Ha
Here's a ridiculous picspam of them I made at one point, for your viewing pleasure.
I love how these two are super loyal friends despite the socioeconomic + political divide <333 they believe in one another no matter what and it's adooorbs.
I feel like throughout the show there were a bunch of points where Gu Yong Ha was worried sick about Moon Jae Shin and Moon Jae Shin was all, "nbd," leaving Gu Yong Ha in distress. With that in mind, I'd love a story where Gu Yong Ha gets into some kind of danger or situation where Moon Jae Shin has to worry about him and ~realizes ~his feelings. Or maybe something where Gu Yong Ha is (pretending to?) date someone elseand Jae Shin is jealous or Moon Jae Shin realizes he's been taking Gu Yong Ha for granted or something that incorporates Gu Yong Ha having a bad day and then feeling better when he's around Moon Jae Shin. <3 Hurt/comfort would be very appreciated, as would be Gu Yong Ha whump, provided there's ample comfort afterwards.
I'm fine with canon-divergent AUs (or any sort of AU that takes place in the same time period, like one of them being a different class or being a male gisaeng or smth) or the OT4 friendship :3

I LOVE it when antagonists really like the protagonist and would take them back in a heartbeat. I love the total loyalty Eliot had for Moreau, and the way Moreau sees Eliot as something special <333 I find it suuuuper indulgent. you cannot possibly overexaggerate Eliot's competence or attractiveness (or woobieness, if you wish it) here.
I would really like bondage, d/s, posessiveness, jewelry, outsider pov being like, "omg moreau is never this way around people~~, who is this eliot guy?!", moreau offering eliot half of his kingdom, eliot being really in love with damian despite knowing he's terrible, Damian first meeting Eliot and wanting desperately to hire him, Damian as a vampire and Eliot as his human servant (with sexy biting ofc), painplay, photographer/model or model/CEO au, hurt/comfort or something else in this general vein or platonic versions of these things!

I love their faith in one another and Sora's determination and single-minded focus when it comes to anything Riku and Riku's self-awareness re: his feelings for Sora. I also love how they look up to one another and push each other ~forward and ~higher! Basically I just think they're a really good match and both very earnest and Riku/Sora warms me to the core.
I'd love something really tropetastic, like sentinel and guides au (or something where they can ~feel each other's emotions or have a ~special bond or ~share dreams but not a name on the wrist au or any of its permutations pls) or fake dating or huddling for warmth or a/b/o or identity porn (they're pen pals/online friends but don't know it! One is a celebrity and the other has no idea because they live under a rock! One is royalty and the other doesn't know!*) or accidental dating or ~childhood friend who moved away came back and is hot or they're both princes. I'd also be fine with canon divergent AUs or non-au fic, although I don't have any prompts for you. :))
Angst is great, too, so long as it's cleared up by the end. Also feel free to describe either of them as ~etherially beautiful~ or super hot because what can I say, I have read a lot of dreck for this pairing and it's made me kind of fond of the writing conventions therein. Except for Kairi bashing. Pls write her as a friend or leave her out entirely.

The end of season one left us on a very interesting note with these two, (one that will probably never be addressed again, what with Bobo dying) with the implication that Bobo being Waverly's imaginary friend when she was a girl was actually involved genuine affection rather than being as creepy and sinister as it first came off as. I am such a sucker for pseudo-father figures, especially angsty or repressed or not-what-they-seem ones. Eric Bana in Hanna, Lord Craven in The Secret Garden, Lee Pace in The Fall...just give me all of them pls.
Something broody from Bobo's POV or canon divergent au where he successfully rescues Waverly or one of their POVs about the time when he was her imaginary friend or an explanation re: why he cares about Waverly so much or the two of them having to team up because of reasons or a platonice Daddy Long Legs AU (lol).
I loved the creepy and desperately passionate feel of Bobo and Willa's romance, but I'd rather the focus of this fic not be on it, unless it's for Bobo to think, like, "I'd protect Waverly, even from my ~love~." Speaking of his ~love~, feel free to address his self-identifying as a swan in that one-off line during the love affair reveal, because lol.
I haven't read the comics, so please assume I have no knowledge of that canon (although feel free to incorporate whatever, so long as you mention it in the end notes or tag for it)!
