Quote should have been trembling from head to toe as he looked at the red beast towering in front of him. Anyone should have. But the only thing Quote did was lift his machine gun and shoot at will.
The Red Demon retaliated as it could, but this robot was not one to mess with. The critter and spike filled cave had left him pumped, and it showed. Every shot that hit made the beast roar, and each expression of pain was a tug at those lips of Quote’s.
It flailed and screamed, throwing spinning clubs at the boy. One of them connected with his chest, sending him off against a stone wall. Quote let out a screech of feedback, but was quickly back to his feet, looking absolutely unaffected by the blow.
Even though the red beast was at least thrice the size of its opponent, the little war machine was gaining advantage by the second. He hopped around, bouncing off walls as if it were nobody’s business, reducing the monster to nothing but a wailing pile of crimson flesh.
With a last yell it turned into stone, it’s maw contorted in pain. Quote saw something fall at its feet, and bent down to pick up the heavy object. He smiled, a sincere, joyful smile at the growth of his collection, and flipped his prize into the air as he walked down the cave’s tunnel. Not even the red ooze falling onto his head and running down his face could wipe that happy expression away.

Quote just hums softly as he pulls the Clay Badge out of his pocket, twirling it between his fingers. He is completely unaware of the City Pass beside his Dreamberry.
