I just finished Fruits Basket. Gaaaahhhhh, my mind.

26 episodes. 23 of those are completely light-hearted, nonsense, predicatable, same-old same-old. The last 3 episodes blew my mind, even more than the last half of Gravitation. Fuck. Why can't all animes just start that way?
