Time: Early afternoonish, during the Fairy Tale plot
Summary: What starts out to be a quick afternoon's work turns into something rather different...

The sun shines through the trees of Sherwood Forest on a lazy summer's day, highlighting small bits of dust stirred up from a well-trodden path. It's the kind of day best spent doing not much at all, if you can get away with it, and the area looks to be fairly quiet, only the normal sounds of birds and other animals that live in the area disturbing the silence.
Appearances can be deceiving, however. Unseen by any travelers is a group of men dressed in Lincoln green, hidden amidst the trees and watching the trail intently. The reason for this soon becomes clear as a single horseman comes into view, the horse moving at a sedate walk through the forest. The leader of the men, Robin Hood (or, more accurately, Jamie McCrimmon, hood pulled up over his head so as to better blend into his surroundings) has his eye on him.
From this distance it's hard to tell who the approaching person is, but he's willing to be patient. With luck, it'll be a traveling merchant with a fat purse of gold that can be used to help those less fortunate - after spending some time in his company to determine if that is necessary, of course. But as Jamie and his small group Merry Men watch, the thudding of hooves becomes audible, shortly followed by the sight of two other horsemen pounding down the road at a high rate of speed. They pull up next to the slower-moving horseman, and there's a conference of some sort between the three men before they suddenly veer off through a thicket of trees a short distance away.
Jamie manages - barely - to stop himself from uttering a confused "Hey?" at the actions. Instead he whistles - one of a series of bird calls to alert the others that there are intruders in their woods and to be wary. He looks at the closest man to him - Dino, dressed as Will Scarlet - and nods over in the direction the men have gone. It might be a good idea to see what, exactly, they're up to, wouldn't it?
