Characters: Heero Yuy (
stoicperfection) and Marta Lualdi (
formervanguard)
Location: A generic, non-specific fantasy world!
Time: Right now?
Summary: Marta is not fit for the damsel in distress role, made worse by the fact that Emil is not her knight. So damnit, she's busting herself out! Much to Heero's dismay...
Warnings: Every fairy tale you know is WRONG here. :|
Once upon a time, there was a beautiful kingdom, ruled by a fair king, his lovely queen, and their beautiful daughter, the princess. Tragedy struck one day, in the form of a fire-breathing dragon. It attacked the kingdom, burninating the countryside and destroying the lives on innocent people. Before anyone could stop it, the great lizard descended upon the castle, and took the young princess for himself as though she were a prize to be won. He kept her in a tower, with his horde of jewels and gold and shiny things. Though the dragon never did return to the kingdom, or to the tower, there she would wait for her knight to rescue her...
.... Yeah. Like Marta was going to take this sitting down.
Outfitted in a frilly, poofy pink dress, a small golden tiara atop her head, Marta looked quite pretty. Still, she felt out of place, and that pissy-teenage-girl expression on her face was certainly not fit for a lady of a story. She hated being cooped up, and she refused to cooperate. And yes, the dragon did come back. Just once. Marta threw something at it and called it names. It hadn't returned since.
She even made several escape attempts. The first involved jumping onto the dragon's back when it circled in closer, only a few moments after she'd first been shoved in there. No dice, and not a very brilliant plan, in hindsight - it just tossed her right back in. Her second attempt involved ducking out the window and attempting to climb down, but the walls were to steep with very few crevices, so she was forced to return to her chamber unless she felt like falling and breaking her spine. Of course, she also tried the door, like an intelligent princess. Not only was it locked, but it wasn't budging with any amount of force she applied. And without her magic, or her weapon...
Yes, Princess Marta was stuck. Very, very stuck. With a sigh, she sat in the windowsill and stared off in the distance. Maybe her knight would come after all...
(OoC: HEERO-MUN! I am deeply sorry this is late - life ate me alive. Also, if something seems wrong, or like something you wouldn't want to do, please don't hesitate to contact me! I'm totally available, flexible, and up for anything! I'll be on AIM at TharianDream in about an hour or so, if you want to talk it out more or something.)
