Vartox. Strongman freak from another world. And somehow, she had managed to attract his attention as a "mate." At this point, Kara was seriously starting to think that she just had this cosmic bad luck. Was that a Kryptonian thing, too? She was sure that the other Kara and Kal probably had the same kind of bad luck, too. Or, hell, maybe it was just Metropolois.
In any case, seeing Blue Snowman get eaten by...who knows exactly what it was and Doctor Mid-Nite getting knocked out by that tool really deserved a drink. She didn't drink often (it was bad for the superhero image), but the Plane was probably the best place. She could drink just enough to take some of the edge off, sleep it off, then back to the newest pain in the butt she went.
The problem was, being Kryptonian meant that you had to drink quite a lot to even get the edge taken off. So, Power Girl was sitting at the bar contentedly, doing her paperwork for Karen Starr. There were still some final details of moving into the apartment to hammer out. The only weird part about it was the large number of shotglasses and otherwise surrounding her.
But still no buzz. Damn.
