Wii Have a Problem.

So...I'm having trouble getting a Wii by Christmas.

I would have thought the hardcore fanatics would have filtered through by now. But people are still skipping school and work just to pick them up the second they are available, whereas I must attend my classes.

So here's the thing: I am unimpressed with the Wii. Having played it at the store a few times, I don't think the motion detect is anything more than a gimmick that will get tiresome well before 2007 is done. While graphics aren't everything by a long shot, they ARE nice and the Wii is not a graphical machine.

The only games I want are Zelda, Mario Galaxy, Smash Brothers, and Mario Party. One I can get for Gamecube. Any other game probably comes out on the other systems and will thus probably be done better on those.

I really only want a Wii by Christmas so I can play Zelda during the holiday break and be done with it, and then of course for the other three games, whenever they choose to come out.

But these losers who skip out on responsibilities just to get the thing before other people are making it harder. Ultimately, I think if I can't get a Wii by Christmas, then I just won't bother because it's not worth it.

Maybe I should just stick to my Xbox 360.
