busiest...weekend...EVER

Jul 23, 2007 11:39

Friday: Tennis with the Ziegenfuss men at 3:00, followed by dress rehearsal at 6:30, dinner afterwards, the party at Jake's until 1:30AM. After that, become foster parents to Barry, the two-week-old kitten. Spend the next 2 hours figuring out how to feed him, make him poop and pee, and teach him how to be a real cat, buy formula and bottle and heating pad to keep him between 80 and 90 degrees.

Saturday: lunch at the church at 11:15, ready for pictures by noon, pictures until 2:00, ushering from 2:00 until 2:50, wedding until almost 4:00 [not sure on that time] reception until 6:00, go home to feed the cat, head to wal-mart for new heating pad that doesn't auto shut-off, then back out to Jake's for the cookout at 7:30. Eat some of the best corn-on-the-cob of my life [2 ears], then head back to feed the cat again and try to hang out with the out-of-towners for a little bit. In bed by 12:00AM.

Sunday: up at 7:45 to get ready for church, laundry, and cat feeding. Go to Robin and Janelle's to start laundry and set up the cat, go to church. 10:30 back to R&J's to change the laundry and feed the cat; back to church. 12:00 back to R&J's to feed the cat, change the laundry. 12:40 head out to the Michaels' for Sunday School party. Eat, kayak, swim, sail, pet the kitty. Head back to R&J's for laundry, fuel up the car, return the tux, back to the Michaels' for the kitty formula, then home. 6:40PM: nap time! 10:40PM wake up! Back to bed around 1:00-ish.

If it weren't for this cat then the weekend wouldn't have seemed so busy, but he's just so darned cute! He's here at the office now and Jeff said that he could be our "office cat" and we could put a litter box at the back of the office by the storage room and he could live here! Doubt that we'll do that but it's fun to think about :)
