Too much excitement!

Hey, friends, if you are reading this, comment so I know (but not you, David, Jenna or Stacey, I know you read this)!

So yesterday my last day in Bangkok began with my ATM card being taken by a cash machine. The bank was very nice and very apologetic, though, and I think the worst that is going to come out of this is that I will have to go back to Bangkok next week to retrieve it. No worries.

I spent the day wandering around this crazy huge shopping center in Bangkok called MBK. It is so huge, it has an entire floor dedicated to only selling cell phones. It's nuts! I decided to pass the time getting a massage and a pedicure- I now have toes of a color I can only describe as neon purple.

I had planned to take the Sky Train (kind of like the El in Chicago) to the train station, but MBK is so big, I couldn't find an exit, then I couldn't figure out which stop I was supposed to change trains at, so I ran downstairs and hired a Tuk-Tuk to take me. I was so worried that I was going to miss my train, I asked the driver for a cigarette! There is nothing like being hurled around Bangkok in a three-wheeled vehicle when you are high on nicotine.

I made it in time to get a delicious waffle at the train station. I took a sleeper car, which was fun, the people working on the train make your bed and everything for you. I think I fell asleep. Then I took a ferry to my new home: Kho Tao.

Seriously, I am not leaving this place. It is beautiful, I am staying in a little bungalow with a view of the sea and a hammock. This is what I did today:

-Ate
-slept in the hammock
-snorkeled with tropical fish
-drank a coconut shake on the beach
-read
-snorkeled again
-ate

This is basically what I plan to do for the next two days, as well. And for the rest of my life. Good-bye.
