Ghost Walk

I just got back from a ghost walk. A pretty good-sized group of us went, and it was pretty cool. The guide said we were the loud group, lol. They gave us all EMF meters to carry around. Kelley brought a tape recorder so we could do EVP sessions, but the batteries were running low, so we couldn't do that. But all in all, it was a lot of fun. Jason, who kind of looks like Shaggy anyway, dressed like Shaggy for tonight's walk.

A couple of members of our group did get offended by the guide's description of a witch, though. Jason had a good point. If they had said, "Every town has a Catholic. They might not want to admit it, but every town has one, and they drink blood" people would be offended. So why is it okay to say something similar about a witch?

But like I said, it was fun, and we're thinking about making the trek up to the Mansfield Reformatory at some point. We had planned to do that last year, but we never got the trip off the ground.

Kelley told me I should come home and write a story about tonight's ghost walk, and you know, I think I'm inspired do just that. I was telling her that the ghost walk would be a perfect setting for two of my regular characters.

This is the last big thing I'm doing for Halloween--Kelley's party was last week. I don't think I posted about the party, but it was fun. Jason dressed as Patrick Bateman for that, and we all ate a lot of food. On Halloween itself, I think I'm having a horror movie marathon and getting something out for dinner.
