Note to self:
Don't use the book Traditions and Encounters, Brief ever again. You don't like the way it fails to contextualize information, and you don't like the way it crams everything about a country into one chapter. Persia is a great example. Sure, cramming into one chapter may seem efficient to the authors, but to you and your students, it's poor organization.
So yes, I'm committing to a new textbook next semester.
And... OMG CRIMINAL MINDS IS TONIGHT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
