They need to cast Captain America before I implode. When I can't sleep at 2 in the morning, I go cruising the web for casting speculation, and it almost always makes me crazy. It's bordering on the ridiculous ( Read more... )

Most of the speculation I've heard have all been "o_O" and "do you even know who Captain America is?" inducing. Gah.

Who is producing the movie and directing it, sometimes that's agreat tip-off as to if we're getting a "Batman Begins" type movie or "The Fantastic Four" type.

I can't remember without looking it up, but they're planning on a movie that would work tonally with Iron Man, since Cap will be interacting with RDJ in The Avengers. They're definitely not going the Fantastic Four route, because the FF movies are actually going to be rebooted themselves to bring them into line with the tone of IM.
