They need to cast Captain America before I implode. When I can't sleep at 2 in the morning, I go cruising the web for casting speculation, and it almost always makes me crazy. It's bordering on the ridiculous.
Listen... Captain America, aka Steve Rogers, is around 6'2, has blonde hair, and is solidly built. He's also a leader of men. He has to be the kind of man smart asses and gods of thunder would follow into certain death. You can't just cast any old person. No Leonardo DiCaprio. No Will Smith. No random actors from the CW. No "guys people think are hot but don't look anything like Cap." And no no no Keanu Reeves. D:

Jason Lewis - He's 6'1" and he friggin' looks almost exactly like Cap does in the comics. He's even got Cap's cleft chin!
And for a slightly younger choice...
Chris Pine - He's got the blonde all-American look. He's around 6 feet tall, according to IMDB. And we know he can act. If he bulked up, he'd be perfect. Yes, I know. He's in another franchise. Blah blah blah.

Bradley Cooper - pretty visible these days, which would make Marvel happy, and he has the all-American regular guy look. Plus, he's over 6 feet.
