I'm glad that Peter got his power sucked right out of him. I doubt it will be forever, probably he'll end up going to Mohinder's and begging for the shot, and there will be Dramatic Battling, but I hope they would let Peter be powerless for a while. Take a look at how he would cope. In a way, Mr Petrelli's power makes sense. Peter's empathism is clearly a variation on a theme...
Claire and her mothers are the most interesting to me, though. They seem to be the only characters whose psychological motives are consistent, somehow realistic. Claire is annoying at times, but it's the "good" kind of annoying: I think she's supposed to annoy the viewers with her wavering between teenage angst and adult responsibility. (And I'd totally read some good Sandra/Meredith!)
Oh, and I see they really did forget Caitlin in the future. And Mr Muggles... somewhere else.
