I saw this survey on oldhollywood, so I thought I'd repost it here:
1. Who is/are your favorite classic Hollywood actor(s)? Humphrey Bogart, William Holden (who I used to have a crush on when I was a kid), Jimmy Stewart
2. Who is/are your favorite classic Hollywood actress(es)? Audrey Hepburn, Lauren Bacall
3. What is/are your favorite classic Hollywood film(s)? Casablanca, The Day the Earth Stood Still, Sabrina, Mr. Smith Goes to Washington, Key Largo, The Quiet Man, The Thing From Another World
4. What makes films from this era so much better than films today? Well, I don't think it's a competition. I like both.
5. What decade of classic Hollywood is your favorite? (ex. 30s, 40s, 50s, etc...) 40s and 50s
6. What is your favorite genre of classic Hollywood films? Sci-fi, hard-boiled detective, drama and romance, Universal Monsters
7. When did you first discover the beauty in old Hollywood? My dad watched a lot of classic films, so I grew up with it. That's how the whole William Holden crush thing happened. *blush*
8. Do you have any old Hollywood memorabilia? *tries to remember* Other than maybe a couple of magazines, no.
9. Does anything in your life have some kind of old Hollywood connection? (ex. your name, your LJ name, your pet's name...) No, but if I get a puppy or kitten, I'd like to name it Bogey.
10. What is/are your favorite quote(s) from a classic Hollywood film or actor/actress? Pretty much every line from Casablanca, but I like this one:

Yes, I had a crush on a guy from the 1950s when I was a kid.
Since we're getting all nostalgic, I found this video on YouTube. It was one of the defining songs of my formative years. I had the whole Snoopy and the Red Baron album and everything. I may or may not still have it.
ALSO, what does everyone think of THIS news. I haven't seen anyone talk about it, and my flist is chock full of CSI fans.
