Right. So at work on Thursday, my friends and I were chatting about time travel, as well as our levels of readiness in the case of a zombie attack. Jason posed a question about time travel, so I thought I'd pose a version of it here.
Let's say the Doctor came and offered to take you time-traveling in the TARDIS. You can go to any time period you want, or even a specific event. You can go to more than one time period eventually, but you have to choose one thing to be your first priority. To what era or event do you zap off to?

When he asked me, my first impulse was to say the 1960s. I could go hang out in Haight-Ashbury or something. After thinking about it, though, I thought it might be fun to visit Minoan Crete and observe their society.
