I love that I have the type of sons that I overhear, as dinner conversation, one of them say to the other, "Have I talked to you about free will and the Multiverse yet?"  And an earnest conversation ensues

The Other boy called from college today to tell me that he only has to buy 2 more text books this semester, and he found them both used, and the total will ONLY be $200.

Textbooks are such a scam.

The Alabama Strings Teachers Asooc. Honors Strings Orchestra Festival took up all one weekend, the 1st-3rd.
