I'm having a home visit/inspection next Friday.  I've got to get enough things out of what will be Shelby's room to at least put up the bed!

Right now I am definitely at the much-worse-before-it-gets-better stage.

And did I mention that the stupid, brand new dishwasher is broken?  Less than two weeks old (11 days) and the top spray arm came off.  Is Warranty, and will be fixed, . . . . . when the new part comes.  Allegedly that was to be 5 days.  It's been a week now, and still nothing.  I'm washing dishes BY HAND!  I feel like I've stepped back into the ( Read more... )

I've been ill and off line a couple of days.  I've set aside this week for getting my house ready for the new year.  Thomas doesn't start school until next week.  So this week I'm de-cluttering, cleaning, and uh, taking down Christmas decorations. I hired a friend's daughter (Bethany) to help with the cleaning part.  Lord knows we need help around
