The whole Cas narrating/talking to God thing didn't work for me either, sad that even Misha couldn't sell it. I got used to the voiceover, but when he was directly talking to the camera, i sort of cringed. :/

The episode was quite a relief, after so much speculation about Castiel turning evil, I finally breathed easy, he is misguided and foolish, he's desperate and making bad choices, but he is still the Castiel we know, fighting the good fight.

Again, i don't think he ignored Sam's calls cuz he felt guilty or anything, he was just waiting for Dean to call busy with the civil war and shit. From what i understood, Cas, looking back, in retrospect, could see that he should've known something was wrong with Sam when he walked away, but he didn't. I firmly believe he didn't know that Sam had no soul until the souloscopy or whatever you call it. And if Sam didn't care (or want to, as Cas must have understood) to let Dean know that he was back, i don't see why Cas would do so.

The Dean/Cas this episode ugh. i won't talk about it, you know all my feelings heee. What is this song you talk about?

I've always loved Crowley, but I especially adore where they are taking him now. The Castiel/Crowley dynamic is golden! Also, i think of you everytime Raphael turns up, I picture you drooling very inelegantly lolol.

I don't know why the boys won't forgive Castiel, I fail to see just he's done that's so terrible. Cas has to fix things and redeem himself, yes, but it would hypocritical of them all to remain angry for too long. I really hope he doesn't die, it's getting so old, and my heart cannot take it. :(

going to check out the cover...

Guess I better answer this before tonight...:/ So nervous god, I hate that I'm going to be asleep while my bb may or may not be dying, wish I could watch live! Also worried about spoilers...

I disagree, he knew SOMETHING was clearly wrong, look at his face, and also look at the way he ignores Sam and Dean's calls in this episode at the end when he knows they will have questions he cannot answer--there right then we see his guilt in action, and I think it is definitely the same case over the summer, that he knew Sam was calling wondering how he was back (Sam says this is why he was calling) and since he couldn't think of what to say (since he realized it had gone wrong and didn't want to admit to doing it himself) he just ignored him, and later just claimed it was the war--as I imagine he would have done in this epp as for why he came so late to their call, had they asked. We see here he is not always away at war, but sometimes is present invisible, watching, choosing when to come and not. Also there's the simple fact of this: if he thought everything was okay with Sam, then why didn't he just say he was the one to bring him back when they asked him outright about it in 6x03? Unless he felt guilty about it because he knew something had gone wrong...now again, I'm not saying he knew it was the soul, but he still knew something was off (although one has to wonder how he missed the soul when everyone else could see it, etc).

"Nobody's Side" beg. around 1:50. Basically a song all about total disillusionment and betrayal.

Also, i think of you everytime Raphael turns up, I picture you drooling very inelegantly lolol.

:D Lol I watched the promo for the finale and afterwards was mainly like, "Holy Shit" and "I just see a BAMF!Raffi"! :p
