people are crazy - and not in the way you'd think
OMG ok note to self, careful screening when applying for sex work. Just finished talking to someone about doing phone sex work while I get my private practice client base up. It was all going fine - person said I sounded good, asked me to commit to doing 5x 4hr shifts per week, which was totally do-able.
It was all organised and then she asked me to start tomorrow morning. I was a bit flustered given that we hadn't even signed anything and she didn't have my ABN or any info about me but my name and phone number - how the fuck was she supposed to pay me??
I thought about it and said, sorry, the earliest I could begin was Monday (and that was pushing it, given that I already have another job that I would need to give notice too). Plus I figured I would have a think about it over the weekend and could call back and ask for some crazy things like a signed contract, and details of who I would be working for.
And her response was to act like I was being TOTALLY UNREASONABLE, and was all "well, you know, some people don't think of it was work, you do need to be reliable... etc."
Wow, can you say crazy? I think will be taking my sexy pants voice elsewhere, thankyou. Eesh!
